Getting Started

KAZCODE Universal Storage moves your Media Library’s binary files — originals and every generated image size — to Amazon S3 or an S3-compatible store, while WordPress stays the source of truth. Attachment posts, titles, alt text, and metadata never leave your database; only the files themselves move.

Before you begin

  • WordPress 6.7 or newer, PHP 8.3 or newer
  • An account with a supported storage provider (see Storage Providers) and a bucket already created
  • Access-key credentials for that bucket

The three steps

  1. Install the plugin
  2. Create your first storage profile
  3. Confirm your first upload

After that, migrate your existing media library in recorded attachment batches whenever you’re ready — completed attachments do not need to be migrated again.
