REST API

Universal Storage includes REST endpoints used by the wp-admin interface. Treat those endpoints as plugin integration surface unless a command is explicitly documented for external automation.

For operator automation, prefer WP-CLI where possible because exit codes and batch output are easier to supervise in deployment scripts.
